Congratulations!
Requesting
a consultation from Salish Design is a step towards
making a significant change in your life and surroundings.
For some it's an extreme makeover. For others, it's
more of a subtle adjustment or tweaking. Others
engage in a variety of ways across the spectrum.
Each situation is unique and Flora's gift is available
to all at any level desired. In every case however
it involves you in a spiritual, emotional and physical
experience that will benefit you in ways you can't
completely imagine until it happens. What Flora has
noticed is that benefits keep appearing in your life
long after her work is done. This is especially true
when some of the beautiful rituals are put into practice.
An
initial consultation usually lasts
from 2-3 hours and always incorporates what many
call Feng Shui, or the ancient Chinese art of placement.
However, depending on the severity of the situation
and the urgency of the need, consultations can evolve
into spontaneous, hands on extreme makeover sessions
that can last up to 12 hours a day and involve additional
days/hours as needed to impart an effective cure.
At least one hour of preparation is required prior
to the initial site visit. The cost of an initial
consultation varies from $300 to $400 and depends
on the length of time actually spent at the site
after having reviewed the bio and floor plan you
will provide as noted below. Time spent on site is
variable depending on the size of the home/office,
your desired outcome, and the depth to which you
wish to explore solutions and/or cures on that day.
Fees are $100/hour for the initial consultation and
then fall between $35 and $75/hour depending on the
nature of the ongoing work and the time and additional
resource requirements involved. Ongoing fees are
paid at the time service is rendered.
In scheduling a Feng Shui consultation, the following areas of
your residence or business are all taken into
consideration during the initial consultation.
1- The property where your dwelling/business
is located, i.e., the lot and surroundings
2. Each floor of the dwelling/office
3. Each room of the dwelling/office that
you would like treated
You will then need to prepare a floor plan drawing on a
separate page for each of the areas/rooms, and
a bio as described below. Do not worry about how
well you draw, just work as neatly as you can on
paper no smaller than 8.5 x 11 for each diagram.
Copies of blue prints or finished drawings may also
be provided. Your involvement at this level is one
of the sacred rituals that ensure a successful outcome.
FLOOR PLAN:
Prepare a simple sketch that shows the shape of your lot,
and location of your house/apartment/office on the
lot in relation to other lots and the street. On
separate pages, draw in more detail the area(s) you wish to
have treated, for example:
The lot and land: Show the streets around the lot and the
driveway and walkway/entrance to the dwelling. as well as
position of the dwelling on the lot. Indicate fences, gates,
hills and any other significant treatments, such as trees,
boulders, pathways, gardens, etc.
Each floor of the dwelling or office: Label the front door
or entry area, major pieces of furniture, the swing of the
doors, window and stair locations and label bedrooms with
names of the occupants. Note: It is especially important to
label the locations of the Stove, Beds and Desk
Individual room(s): Show the position of the door, locations
of windows, major pieces of furniture, use of the room.
BIO:
Prepare a 1 page bio consisting of brief statements
regarding your health, finances, relationships, career,
spirituality, and family. Then indicate which of
those areas you want covered in a consultation and
why. Especially note where you feel blocked as
well as areas that you feel are going quite well
for you. Time will be spent throughout the consultation
discussing your bio and the issues you wish to address.
COVER LETTER and DIRECTIONS to the SITE:
Please provide a signed cover letter requesting your consultation.
Email or call me for the mailing address and to alert
me that your request is on its way. Be sure to include
the address of the site and any special directions
or information that would assist me in locating the
property if an address isn't easily seen from the
street or accessible on Mapquest.
As soon as the above information is received you will be
contacted to schedule the consultation. The consultation
can take two-three hours on-site and usually requires
an hour or more of preliminary study and work with
your floor plan prior to the initial consultation.
Items suggested as cures are not included in the
consultation and must be purchased separately.
